Hi. I'm Wyatt.

I'm an engineering leader passionate about product, design, and engineering. I've always enjoyed the craft in building things and have excelled at the intersection of those three domains. I spent the early years of my career primarily dabbling in desktop and mobile development, with some backend work sprinkled in. Throughout all that, I found myself increasingly gravitating from building code to building teams and have since transitioned over to engineering management. I’ve since built and scaled multiple teams, ranging from mobile development, backend platforms, to ML ranking.


In my spare time, I enjoy taking taking photos with my iPhone, Nikon Z8, and Fuji X100F cameras. On a normal day, you'll also find me clocking in miles on Strava or carving down the slopes in the winter.


I love coffee, probably a little too much. Nothing beats a good cup any day.

Supported Instagram Business and Instagram Well-being & Integrity teams. Led vision and strategy around:

  • Business products (data analytics, creator profiles, creative tools)
  • Integrity experiences (user reporting, content appeals, muting, blocking)
  • Integrity platforms (content demotions, recommendations, ranking)

2016 – 2022

Twitter

Worked on Twitter iOS, building products for the Twitter profile and verified accounts (Pinned Tweets, Notifications, Inbox). I also led a small team to build and ship the Niche iOS Creator App.

2014 – 2016

Amazon

Worked on Amazon Cloud Drive and built Mac OSX and Windows desktop apps for file syncing and photo management.

2012 – 2014

Apple

Worked on Apple Consumer Engineering tools, building internal tooling and infrastructure for iPhoto.
